Velcor® will handle the registration and titling of your new vehicle before your driver picks it up at the delivering dealer's location. Whenever possible, we will transfer the current license plates to the new vehicle. If new plates are needed, either Velcor® or the delivering dealer will ensure the new plates are acquired and placed on the vehicle for your driver.
Velcor® participates in the Computerized Vehicle Registration (CVR) program with the Wisconsin Motor Vehicle Department, which allows us to process vehicle registrations instantaneously, from within our office. We'll issue license plates immediately for your new vehicles, as well as on the used vehicles you sell to your drivers, employees or other third parties. No more waiting for your license plates to arrive.
At the customer's request and for no added fees, Velcor® will renew the vehicle license plates each year. The registration is simply renewed, and all DMV fees are billed to you on your monthly rental invoice.
Velcor® will process the license and title paperwork for your drivers as they move from state to state. The only time your driver will be involved, is when a vehicle inspection is required. This service is provided with no additional fees.
All property tax bills are paid by Velcor® on behalf of our customers and billed to you on your monthly rental invoice, as they are incurred.
In states which allow a tax-exempt status on vehicle leases, sales tax is calculated and charged to you on a monthly basis, based on the vehicle's rent. In all other states, Velcor® will pay the sales tax on the vehicle to the dealer up front, and this one time charge will be billed to you on your monthly rental invoice.

know moreVelcor® works with our partner, Network, to facilitate motor vehicle record checking. This program allows you to check the driver's license record of your drivers, driver's spouse or partner, prospective new employees, or anyone else authorized to drive your company vehicle. Reports are available annually or as often as you want to check these records. Each state has their own fees for this information in addition to Network's fees. Ask our sales team for more information about this program.
As parking tickets and tolls are received, they are processed according to your customized preferences and are either forwarded to the fleet manager, or directly to the driver to be paid. If a judgement is issued against Velcor®, we will pay the ticket or toll and bill the amount to you on your monthly rental invoice. No additional fees are charged for processing the ticket or toll violation.
